Right Mobile Phone said 3,138 people were recently polled across the nation about how mobile phones affect their emotions. Eighty per cent in the survey responded that not receiving a reply to a text message damages their mood, and 41 per cent said that without a daily texting they felt "unpopular and lonely".
While a full 82 per cent of respondents said they look forward to being given a ring by their partners and loved ones, 19 per cent purposefully duck calls from their parents.
Eighteen per cent admit to have faked receiving a phone call or text message.
The study also concludes that folks are overwhelmingly insincere about LOLing. Only 9 per cent of respondents said they have actually laughed out loud at anything they've ever been sent via text, even though 61 per cent said they regularly use the term LOL while texting...
